good news.
i bought midnight harry potter 7 tickets yesterday.
i am overjoyed.

ya.. i am really excited.

ok so i am really really overjoyed with the weather. i cant even handle it anymore. the last three days have been absolutely perfect. i love rain.
cloudy weather is my favorite. i want it so stay like this forever.

so i went for a drive up the canyon last wednesday with the lovely shelley bean and sweetie kelsey farr. it was truly my favoritest thing EVER! oh baby i love love love the mountains, the changing leaves, rain clouds, the crisp air from rainfall.. i wanted to stay there forever!

ya we also went again today. it was so relaxing. i cant get enough of that crisp mountain air! we stopped at sundance and got suckers. YuMMy. my favorite kind is the peaches and cream. pictures will come soon.

First. dear math- i hate your guts.

Second. my nearest and dearest friend Tanner left for his mission today. He will be serving in Toronto, Canada for the next two years. It is going to be really weird not having him around.

Third. i am learning how to play the guitar. i love love love it. i am not very good yet but i am berry excited to learn :)

Fourth. one of my favorite tv shows started last night. Parenthood. OoOh i loved it!

Fifth. the leaves are changing. i love when the leaves change. it is so so pretty. i will have to take a drive up the canyon real soon.

Sixth. Why does chocolate make everything better?

soo.. anyways-

i am so so excited for the fall. i cant even control it! the weather is starting to get chillier (only a tiny tiny). it is already september. then october comes. and october includes wonderful times such as jenn jenns birthday, colder weather, the leaves change, and halloween (oh there will be a halloween party like no other). and then on to my favorite month of the entire year- NOVEMBER. Can I just tell you how much i truly love november. I love everything about it! i love the weather, i love that my birthday is in november, i love the cross-birth (the greatest four days. the 4 days when me and linds are the same age. the 4 days from my birthday on the 12th to her birthday on the 16th.), i love thanksgiving, and i love all the excitement that you feel in november! the anticipation of all the wonderful things to come. like snow and christmas. oooh i just love it! I am getting so excited just talking about it.



well thats about it for now..

EXCEPT.. the fact that my bedroom is extremely clean! i have worked so hard on it and it is finally coming together. i got a dresser and i am painting it and i cant wait for the finished product! thats all.

went to a concert with jenn and linds.
but- it was not just any old concert.
this was.. Benton Paul.

to start- benton had the bestiest opening act I have ever seen.
her name is Jennifer Blosil.
She is from orem and is super cute and extremely talented.

ha. He did such an amazing job! but I wouldnt expect anything less from him.
after the show ended.. he came back out and sang a song acoustically sitting right on the edge of the stage. it was amazing. his music is wonderful.

I love harry potter.
This summer I started to read the wonderful books for the first time. Let me just say that they are the greatest thing that has ever happened. I finished the first then quickly after I finished the second and I am now reading the third. I will finish all of them by November 17. The blessed day when the first part of the final hp movie comes out.
I am so super excited about it. Don't worry- there will be a brilliant party in celebration of this movie. It will be even better than our last party.

Today in Young Womens we were talking about family history and family traditions. When it came Jennica's turn to share a fun tradition, the first thing that came out of her mouth were the words, "We eat ham." Hahaha I lost it. Wow that is one of the funniest thing I have ever heard. Thanks Jenn :)

The lesson today also made me think of how grateful I am for my family and all our funny traditions. I love the 'You are special Today' red plate that we get out for birthdays. I love Christmas traditions at grandma and grandpa's with the cousins. I love having a sleepover with cousins at grandma and grandpa's the night before the 4th of July then going to the balloon festival and parade in the morning. I love going camping every summer with family and friends where we play cards for hours. I love game night every Wednesday night in the summer (new tradition we started last year). I love the comfort that these people and traditions bring through consistency in my life. Life is always changing.

days of our lives.

I had a wonderful weekend. I went with Linds to get pedicures right after school at Shelle's school. ha that was fun! Shelle and I cant really do anything seriously together so it was amusing. That night I went to my grandparents house with Lindsay, Shelle, Tanner, Haddy, and Jennica. Hysterically fun would be an understatement for how the night went. We spent our evening eating, laughing, drinking (Linds), laughing, looking at bizarro pictures, laughing, playing cards, laughing, watching a movie, oh and more laughing. Ha it was such a great night.

Today has been a little weird though. Jordan and Morgan are both gone to Pennsylvania for the summer. I already miss them so much and they haven't even been gone for a week. And Shelle left this morning to go to AZ in celebration of her graduation. (ps congrats Shelle!!) Half of my family is gone. The house is so quiet now... I am the oldest one at home. It is sooo weird. I knew that it would come but it is quite bizarre. Ha I know Shelle will be back in a week but this week will be uh- different.

spring has sprung.

unfortunately this blissful spring break week has come to an end. this has been a wonderful, relaxing, and productive week. It was exactly what i needed. It was filled with splendid times with the ones i love. the highlights of the week include easter dinner with family at grandparents house, hide and seek with the fam at cabellas, back to back dollar movies with kaitlyn, sauna and smoothies and sleepover with shelle linds and brittany at grandma and grandpas house, shaving my legs in a drive through for linds and brandee's social norms project, and being able to clean all my laundry.
i am so glad that i was so able to have fun but still get things done that have been pushed back because of other things. it was so relaxing to read books and watch movies and do laundry.
in other news....
the yearbook is finished. lots of hours but totally worth it.
i am going to spring fling this saturday with my good friend Evan Johnson.
i am so excited for snoasis to open in less than a month.
life is good.

Today I finally watched Amelia the movie and I loved it!
She was amazing. She never let anything get in her way and did what she wanted to do and what was best. I am deciding to live more like Amelia. I will do what I want to do for me and I will take the risks that will bring great rewards.

Last night I got distracted looking through old pictures of me and my family. I am so grateful for them and the wonderful support team they are to me. They are the best. We have had our trials and challenges but I know that we have only grown closer and become stronger because of them. We can accomplish anything together.
